Meet the Editor
In 2005, The Review Connection was founded by its Editor-in-Chief, Lucy Derby. Lucy is an experienced and seasoned writer with past publications in The Daily Bruin, Five Star Reviews, and Los Angeles' Entertainment Today. With over seven years of experience in reviewing travel, hotels, restaurants, fashion, and jewelry, she continues her passion in writing by bringing readers the best of the best. Lucy holds an Honors B.A. in English from University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) in addition to a post-graduate degree. She enjoys introducing new and emerging independent clothing and jewelry designers as well as popular favorites to a wide spectrum of readers. A gourmet cook herself, she also seeks to review the best new restaurants and hot spots in entertainment and travel. Before launching The Review Connection, she published numerous articles and served as the Associate Editor for Five Star Reviews national online magazine.
