She found her beginning as a handbag designer when she use to work as a stylist and could never find the right bag to complete outfits she was putting together for her clients. It was then that she decided to attend fashion school and launch her own handbag line. Bryna studied Psychology at UCLA and then Product Development at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM) in San Francisco. Bryna, always the creative one in the family, grew up playing the piano and guitar, and later picked up painting with acrylics and oils in her teens. These days, designing handbags fulfills her creative desire within. Bryna’s most influential handbag designer is Miu Miu. On a personal note, her own inspiration for ideas come from everywhere. Bryna notes that ideas could “be the detail on a building façade or combinations of fabrics seen on the runways. Many of the ideas from the upcoming spring collection were inspired by looking through old 60’s and 70’s photographs of my parents.” Being “a sucker for snake and crocodile skins,” naturally her favorite materials to use are reptile skins. 
Our featured Editor’s Pick this month is the Rosemont Clutch (12"w x 8"h x 1"d) in red, yellow, and violet. This clutch is larger compared to most because it also functions as and transforms into an elegant purse as the 30" chain strap is removable. The top of the clutch features an exposed zipper closure and the interior is roomy and plentiful enough for carrying all essentials. The material cannot be beat as it is made with the softest and most supple cowhide leather while the trim boasts embossed crocodile, snake, or lambskin. The small rectangular front panel features plain textured leather the same shade of the clutch. Bryna loves the Rosemont clutch because it can be worn more casually during the day with its strap and as a clutch for evening. “The gathering detail gives it so much character and it is big enough to hold everything you need for a night out.” 
The chunky gold shoulder chain is very complimentary against all three colors, especially the red patent. The Rosemont made glossy red patent leather stands apart with its slick shine and is a classic as it looks great with any outfit. This bold and sexy shade is perfect for that special night out or holiday parties. The Rosemont clutch in violet displays a deep and rich purple leather that is both unique and stunning. This purple clutch is perfect for the girl who dares to be different by standing out among the crowd in setting her own fashion trends. For a bolder look that is a must for spring and summer, the Rosemont in yellow (also Bryna’s favorite) is sure to be noticed. This bright canary yellow leather looks great against summer dresses and floral patterns and is even cuter with jeans.
